Through wild feasts in the forest to foraging & wild cooking classes, long inspired by a tradition of cooking over open flames
Bringing years of experience from professional kitchens around Ireland & Spain, chef Rory Gorman combines the green native produce of Ireland with primal & primitive cooking techniques to bring a taste of the Celtic past to his guests
“Fire has its own language, written in the realm of heat, hunger and desire. it speaks of alchemy, mystery and above all, possibility. it is a slumbering voice inside me, the ever present beast within my soul, it is beyond words, beyond measure, it comes from a time long before i can recall.”
-Francis Mallman

Chef Rory Gorman has cooked over flames for many years, from the forests of Finnebrogue, to the beaches of Spain along the coast of Costa Brava , the docks of London, the gothic alleys of Barcelona, from the streets of Belfast to the Irish shore.
Fire, beauty & nourishment can be found in all manner of places, this ethos is at the basis of chef Rory Gorman’s cooking.
Feast over flames
As homage to the changing of the seasons, feasts are held in honour of the ancient Celtic fire festivals, celebrated in a wild tipi deep in the Finnebrogue forest.
