Dexter beef

Dexter cattle is a breed that is native to, and originated from, Ireland.

Small, sturdy cows that are excellent for both beef & dairy and have a rich part to play in Irelands story,

Dexter beef is regularly featured on our feast menus.

the tipi

After a short journey down a dirt road through the woods, tucked deep in the forest, sits our wild tipi.

Placed in harmony within the nature around it, and hosts many celebrations under its shelter.

Set up beautifully by Magnakata, a tipi company owned by the proprietor of Finnebrogue woods, Ed Linsday.

It truly is an enchanting location for hosting our wild feasts and dining experiences.

As the seasons change, we change.

The climate, the food we eat, the shifts in the earth all affect our mood and how we live our life on a daily basis.

The ancient Celts knew this and had different celebrations as the year progressed, and the seasons brought their own beauty and comforts.

At our feasts, we lean into those comforts.

A woodfire in the winter, wild flowers in spring, dark Celtic moods on harvest days.

It feels natural to match the cycles of the seasons, and sets the tone for the feast ahead.

Come see for yourself.
